EDAC 699 Internship in Adult and Community Education

This course provides a field experience that is jointly supervised by the university and a qualified practitioner in approved settings. These may include correctional education, higher education, university extension, continuing education, community organizations, or other approved contexts. Students develop practical skills in adult and community education, enhance their ability to apply theoretical concepts in real-world contexts, and gain insights into effective practices in diverse environments.

Prerequisite: Permission of the program director or department chairperson.

A total of 6 credits may be earned. Only 3 credits can be earned in one semester.
