This course explores the structure, purpose, and processes of community education development with emphasis on the development of skills and competencies required of a community education coordinator. Students enhance their understanding of community education complexities through research, discussions, and projects. They examine perspectives of various racial, ethnic, and cultural groups. They also develop a resource collection and analyze their experiences with community education theories and practices.
