SNLN 291 Social Services in the Deaf Community

Major concepts and issues in the field of Deaf studies and the Deaf/hard of hearing community are examined through exploration of current trends and practices related to social services and working with deaf and hard of hearing individuals. Students will investigate resources across various fields and areas of study as they relate to supporting deaf and hard of hearing individuals and their families.
