POLS 480 Access to Justice Clinic

For legal studies majors, the ATJ Clinic allows students to work with community partners in order to provide legal services to underserved populations. Students will work directly with attorneys and clients to address the legal needs of the client. Student activities may include interviewing clients and witnesses, researching, and drafting court documents, conducting investigations, attending judicial hearings, and testifying in court.

Prerequisite: POLS 141 and POLS 242 and POLS 243 and POLS 250.

A total of 6 credits may be earned, but no more than 3 in any one semester or term.

Open only to legal studies majors.
