ISOM 422 Health Care Information Systems
Provides an overview of current developments, issues and challenges in the emerging field of health informatics--the application of information and communication technology (ICT) for the acquisition, storage, management and use of information in health care, the study of human-computer interaction, human factors, the consideration of social and organizational factors related to successful technology deployment. Prerequisite: ISOM 135 or permission of the department chairperson.
