ISOM 420 Knowledge Management

Knowledge management systems leverage the intellectual assets of the firm, facilitating delivery of e-commerce and e-business. Topics: how knowledge is created, captured, represented, stored, and reused. Exploration of approaches to managing both explicit and tacit knowledge, and technologies that support KM. Case studies and computer demonstrations included. Prerequisite: ISOM 311, 313; or permission of the department chairperson.
