ISOM 413 Database Management Systems

Concepts of database management systems, data models, the entity-relationship (ER) diagrams, design and implementation of database application, database administration, Oracle Database environment, structured query language (SQL), PL/SQL, distributed databases and data warehousing. Course provides a significant hands-on experience using Oracle DBMS to develop a real life business application. Prerequisite: ISOM 226 or permission of the department chairperson.
