ISOM 421 Network and Security Management
Presents a comprehensive overview of network management, computer and network security. Network management using Windows 2008, Linux, enterprise security framework, network defense, risk assessment, OS Hardening, security tools to prevent break-ins, computer forensics, disaster recovery, security practices, and policies. Provides a significant hands-on experience in penetration testing and defenses. Prerequisite: ISOM 317 or permission of the department chairperson.
