CJC 397 Constitutional Issues in CJC
This class explores legal precedents in the criminal justice system. Analyses of appellate court decisions are limited to those that are related to the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 14th amendments. Topics include criminal investigations, custody, interrogations, searches and seizures, trial components, and sentencing. Prerequisite: CJC 101 and 102 and 250. Open only to CJC majors and minors.
