CJC 309 Juvenile Justice Delinquency

This course examines theoretical explanations of delinquency and the juvenile justice system. Delinquency is examined from numerous perspectives, including the role of families, communities, schools, and genetics. The examination of responses to delinquency include those by the police, courts and correctional institutions. Prerequisite: CJC 101 and 102. Open only to CJC majors and minors.
