CJC 333 Policing Free Diverse Society
This course is an examination of issues and developing trends confronting police in the United States. It examines issues of police and policing including organizations and management, minorities in policing, police deviance, use of force, and community policing. It emphasizes developments in the provision of law enforcement and social services by the police at the local, state, and federal levels. Prerequisite: CJC 101 and 102 and 230. Open only to CJC majors and minors.
