SOCW 650 Diff Assess Ment Hlth and Adct
Teaches social workers to identify major mental disorders, substance use, and abuse disorders and provides an introduction to social wok practice approaches used in the treatment of these disorders. Prerequisite: SOCW 560 or 610 with a grade of B or better, or permission of the department chairperson. Parallel: SOCW 600 and 640 and 660. Open only to students admitted into the Master of Social Work program.
