SOCW 641 Soc Wk Prog Eval and Anlys
Social work program evaluation and analysis introduces students to the design, implementation, and analyses of formative and summative evaluations of social work interventions at the programmatic level. Special attention is placed on evaluating the extent to which social programs address issues of social justice, ethics, diversity, and empowerment across diverse populations and settings. A research paper will be completed to fulfill the Graduate School requirement for a research plan (Ball State Graduate Catalog). Prerequisite: SOCW 660 with a grade of B or better, or permission of the department chairperson. Parallel: SOCW 601 and 620 and 661. Open only to students admitted into the Masters in Social Work program.
