ANIM 231 Dynamic Animation Effects

Students will explore various techniques and principles for creating visually striking and impactful effects such as explosions, fluid simulations, particle systems, hair, and fur. Through hands-on projects and practical exercises, students will delve into the intricacies of timing, weight, and physics, learning how to manipulate these elements to produce realistic and engaging dynamic effects. Emphasis will be placed on industry-standard software and tools.


Prerequisite: ANIM 203 or ART 311, and ANIM 211 or ART 315, or by permission of the instructor
