ART 352 Animation: Visual Effects Animation

The Animation: Visual Effects Animation course provides an immersive exploration of the intricate world of visual effects (VFX) animation. Students will delve into the art of seamlessly integrating computer-generated imagery with live-action footage, creating captivating and realistic visual effects for film, television, and other media. Through hands-on projects and exercises, students will learn the technical intricacies of compositing, tracking, motion capture, and digital integration, gaining expertise in the application of VFX techniques to enhance storytelling and visual narratives. With a focus on industry-standard software and tools, students will develop a nuanced understanding of the VFX production pipeline.

Prerequisite: ART 350

Open only to School of Art animation majors, or permission by instructor.
