ART 350 Animation: Introduction to Visual Effects Animation

The Introduction to Visual Effects Animation course offers students a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental principles and techniques of creating compelling visual effects for film, television, and various digital media platforms. Students will explore the foundational concepts of VFX, including digital compositing, motion tracking, and the integration of computer-generated imagery (CGI) with live-action footage. Through practical projects and hands-on exercises, students will gain practical experience in industry-standard VFX software and tools, enabling them to understand the process of creating seamless and immersive visual effects.

Prerequisite: ART 315 and ART 311

Open only to School of Art animation majors, or by permission of the instructor.
