ART 320 Video Art and New Media: Gallery Installation

A comprehensive introduction to producing and exhibiting video art and new media intended for gallery, museum, and site-specific distribution. This includes video and new media’s impact on contemporary art practices and will present students with examples of artists in various formats including, installation and performance. Technical demonstrations and workshops will cover camera, lighting, pre-production, digital editing techniques, video mapping, and multi-channel installation.

Prerequisite: ADS 103 with a grade of C or better or by permission of instructor.

Open only to School of Art majors and minors.
