AFA 361 Printmaking: Relief
Fundamental procedures of relief printmaking of carving images into woodblocks and other surfaces for printing that includes the use of color and new image-making approaches. Subsequent relief course enrollments emphasize the ability to deal creatively and conceptually with open-ended problem solving, in-depth aesthetic decision-making, and use of personal individual artistic choices for problem solving. A total of 6 credits may be earned, but no more than 3 in any one semester or term.
Prerequisite: AFA 231 or by permission of instructor.
