SPCE 200 Exceptional Children and Adults
This course explores cultural, historical, and artistic perspectives on disability across the lifespan, with attention to how ideas of identity and difference are expressed in various forms. Students will examine texts, media, and creative works to analyze how disability is represented and interpreted across time and context. The course emphasizes interpretation, critical reflection, and creative engagement with disability as conveyed through cultural and artistic traditions.
