PLAN 418 Urban Planning Practicum Lab
Students plan activities and prepare for the practicum studio. Students will conduct outreach in an area ‘where students want to take their career’. This may include a specific domain of planning (real-estate development, community development, economic development, transportation, land-use and zoning), or a specific firm or academic institution to pursue further study. Students must deliver an individualized semester-long schedule of activities for the spring practicum studio which may include part time work, job shadows, attending specialized conferences, mentor development, grad school visits, etc.
