PLAN 303 Economic Development Studio

In this third-year studio class, students apply urban planning and economic development planning knowledge and techniques to a specific town, city, or planning agency jurisdiction. This course is designed to hone economic development analytical skills by using them for a practical purpose. Students will collect, analyze and synthesize data and information to generate practical insights into the economic factors that shape a specific place. Students will create a planning document(s) and public presentation(s) to share succinct, clear visually appealing and audience appropriate information.

Prerequisites: Plan 302 and Plan 365

Corequisite: Plan 319
