PLAN 203 Spatial Analysis Studio
In this second-year studio class, students learn and apply spatial analysis knowledge, skills and software in a professional setting, with formal clients. They will engage in activities that: 1) investigate scale, in relation to physical, political and social boundaries, 2) inventory social, economic and physical elements at a various or specific scales, 3) analyze the suitability of land and the vulnerability of the environment for development. Students will collect, analyze and synthesize data and information in order to develop practical, useful and actionable plans. Students will learn to engage effectively, ethically and professionally with fellow students and clients and other audiences.
