EXSC 420 Strength and Conditioning Program Design

This course explores the periodization and implementation of evidence-based strength and conditioning. Students will investigate program design, exercise selection, and strategies to optimize sports performance, mitigate injury risk, and implement programming techniques. Thirty hours of strength and conditioning practical experience are required as part of this course.


Prerequisite: EXSC 147 or EXSC 200 with a C or better.

Exercise Science majors may repeat only once. Open only to Exercise Science major and Coaching minor students.
