BIO 203 Professional Readiness: Biomedical Sciences
What do you want your life to look like in 3–5 years? This course is specifically designed to help you build a clear path forward toward a career in the health professions or biomedical sciences by developing the skills, documents, and direction you’ll need for life after college. You’ll create professional materials—including résumés, cover letters, and/or personal statements—for job or graduate school applications. You’ll also spend time thinking intentionally and writing about your future by developing a 3–5 year plan that reflects your goals, interests, and values. Research shows that having a clear plan leads to better focus, less wasted time, and stronger graduation outcomes. This course provides the time, support, and structure to start building a meaningful future.
The course will be offered as a Credit/No-Credit course.
Prerequisites: C or better in BIO 111 and BIO 112 or equivalent from another institution.
