BIO 201 Professional Readiness: Genetics, Molecular and Cellular Biology
What do you want your life to look like in 3–5 years? This course is specifically designed to help you build a clear path forward based upon your interest in genetics, molecular, and cellular biology by developing the skills, documents, and direction you’ll need for life after college. You’ll create professional materials—including résumés, cover letters, and/or personal statements—for job or graduate school applications. You’ll also spend time thinking intentionally and writing about your future by developing a 3–5 year plan that reflects your goals, interests, and values. Research shows that having a clear plan leads to better focus, less wasted time, and stronger graduation outcomes. This course provides the time, support, and structure to start building a meaningful future.
The course will be offered as a Credit/No-Credit course.
Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in BIO 111 and BIO 112, or equivalent from another institution.
