AQUA 221 Advanced SCUBA Diver
This advanced SCUBA diving course builds on Open Water certification through a combination of advanced and specialty-level exploration, offering divers expanded training in both classroom and practical settings. The program integrates academic instruction, confined-water practice, and 11 additional open-water dives to strengthen safety, knowledge, and skill development across a range of environments. Core training includes deep diving, night diving, underwater navigation, underwater ecology, and search and recovery, along with other specialty techniques that refine precision and situational awareness underwater. Each dive is structured to reinforce essential skills, introduce advanced competencies, and build confidence in progressively more complex scenarios. By the end of the course, divers will demonstrate enhanced proficiency, environmental understanding, and adaptability, preparing them to dive safely and effectively in challenging and varied conditions. Prerequisites: AQUA 220 Min Grade: D- or basic level (Open Water) certification with permission of the instructor.
