AHS 101 Art in a Globalized World: Art History before 1500 CE

This course provides an introduction to global art and architecture from prehistory to the year 1500 CE. Major traditions from around the world, including Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas are examined in terms of media, technique, style, subject matter, and sociocultural context.
