Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis

The Master's program in Applied Behavior Analysis at Ball State University is a comprehensive 30-credit online program designed for professionals seeking to deepen their expertise in behavior analysis. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application, focusing on assessment, intervention, and ethical considerations. Students engage in a variety of courses that prepare them to implement evidence-based practices effectively. A cumulative capstone project is required for program completion. SPCE 609, SPCE 610, SPCE 611, SPCE 680, and SPCE 682 must all be passed with a "B" grade or higher to be accepted for credit toward the master's degree and enroll in other courses for the degree. All other courses will be accepted with a "C" grade or higher. Students who either drop below a 3.0, are reinstated after being academically separated, or who are admitted on earned admission are required to complete the Modules of Success Canvas course.

Capstone Project Requirement

Students are required to complete a Capstone Project as part of this program. Each course in the program includes Capstone assignments and submissions, all of which must be completed to pass the course. Students will compile these assignments into a final portfolio for submission. Students must also pass a mock BCBA exam and submit a clinical skills review completed by their supervisor in order to complete the Capstone Project.
