Enrollment Requirement for Newly Admitted Students

Admitted students must accept their admission offer by the Thursday prior to the start of the academic term. Departments may have earlier deadlines. A newly admitted student should contact the department or consult the department’s website and/or handbook for specific program admission acceptance deadlines. Students who do not accept their admission to a program may reapply but must submit new application materials and meet all current admission requirements. 

Programs may require newly admitted students to complete additional enrollment steps before registering for courses. Enrollment requirements must be outlined within the program’s handbook and on the department’s website. Program enrollment steps may include, but are not limited to, attending the department’s orientation session, successfully completing clearance or clinical practice requirements, or submitting official documentation of license for clinical practice.
