Provides the foundation for social work practice with individuals, families, and groups. It emphasizes basic knowledge, values, critical thinking and practice skills for ethical and effective social work practice. Parallel: SOCW 510 and 520 and 530. Open only to students accepted into the two-year Masters in Social Work program.
