PHIL 304 Philosophy of Sport

Inquiry into the nature of sport and analysis of its ethical, social, and aesthetic dimensions. Topics may include sport and the good life, the ethics of competition, fair play, and the ethics of coaching. Other topics in sport may include violence, brain injury, non-human animals, racial and gender equity, the use of performance-enhancing substances, and sport on the college campus.
