PHIL 275 Data Ethics

An examination of ethical concepts and theories in data sciences and artificial intelligence. Topics may include algorithmic bias, algorithmic accountability, statistical fairness, data justice, data privacy and surveillance, explainable AI and transparency, internet of things, “smart” cities, and sustainability concerns.
