CC 205 Mythologies of the World

This course is an exploration of comparative mythology. Students will reflect on tales and structures of various world mythologies, using the mythologies of the ancient Mediterranean world as a starting point for discussion. The course will emphasize understanding mythologies as symbolic cultural systems expressing societal values.
