Cognate in Curriculum and Instructional Leadership

Candidates will explore curriculum theory and research to broaden their understanding of curriculum influences and designs, and to identify and support the development of high-impact instruction. Candidates will be prepared to contribute to curriculum development initiatives, evaluate effective instructional practice, and teach in educator preparation programs. Course options allow candidates to design a cognate that meets their individual needs and interests.
