PSYS 472 Psychology of Criminal Behavior
This course provides an overview of psychological perspectives on criminal behavior. The course will cover predominant models of criminal behavior and the role psychological science plays in elucidating risk for criminal conduct. The course will include discussion of specific, empirically based risks for criminal behavior, as well as how these factors are applied to understanding individuals in forensic and correctional settings.
Prerequisites: PSYS 100 and PSYS 318 or permission of department chairperson.
