FR 404 Seminar in Language, Culture or Cinema
Seminar studies in French language, Culture or Cinema. Topic to be announced. In this seminar, students will explore an aspect, author or theme from French and Francophone language culture or cinema in detail. This course expands students’ knowledge and consideration of others’ ideas and values. Selections from film, literature, or other media, will allow students to develop a critical understanding of selected sources. Students will explore perspectives of the French and Francophone world in order to compare and interpret them through their own worldview.
Prerequisite: FR 301 or FR 302 or equivalent, or permission of the department chairperson.
A total of 9 credits may be earned.
Recommended prerequisite: FR 360 or FR 401
