FOR 479 Forensic Science Internship
Paid or unpaid internship or internship-like experience(s) which provides the student an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills from a planned work experience in criminal justice, laboratory or field forensics, crime scene investigation, behavioral science, or directly related area. In addition to meeting Core Learning Outcomes, jointly developed specific learning outcomes are selected and evaluated by the faculty internship advisor, worksite supervisor, and the student. Internship placements are directly related to the student’s program of study and provide learning experiences not available in the classroom setting.
This course experience may be repeatable for up to 6 hours of credit required to meet the degree requirements.
Note: Student must be at Junior standing and have completed 60 hours of Forensic Science related coursework to register for this course.
