CM 214 LEED LAB
LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an internationally recognized green building rating system developed by USGBC®, the U.S. Green Building Council. This immersive learning course establishes Ball State’s LEED® Lab™, a program established by USGBC®, the U.S. Green Building Council with the goal of having students prepare a plan for the certification of existing campus facilities. Working with representatives from Ball State’s Facilities Planning and Management department as the actual client, students will be assessing, evaluating, prioritizing, and planning the LEED O+M-EB® (LEED Operations and Maintenance for Existing Buildings) certification process as members of an interdisciplinary team.
