ART 234 Video and New Media: Experimental Video for Theatrical Screening
Comprehensive introduction to the production and exhibition of experimental video shorts for a theatrical screening environment. Historical and contemporary experimental films and videos will be screened throughout the semester. Technical demonstrations and workshops will cover camera, sound, lighting, pre-production, and digital editing techniques. The course will conclude with a public screening of a program of student-made videos.
Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in ADS 103 or by permission of the instructor.
Open only to School of Art majors and minors.
