Study of brands, branding, and the role of advertising in brand development. Explores how brands are built, leveraged, measured, and nurtured; the roles brands play in society; trends in brand development; and future of brands.

Prerequisite: ADPR 250 (or JOUR 250) or MDIA 345 (or TCOM 345).
