ACR 331 Glass: Flame Special Topics

Investigation of neon or flame working. These techniques explore the use of specialized torches to manipulate glass. Neon explores light and color using luminous tubes. Flame working explores the creation of solid or hallow forms. These courses are taken as introduction level courses that can be repeated depending upon the student’s level of exploration. Topic to be announced. A total of 9 credits may be earned, but no more than 3 in any one semester or term.

Prerequisite: ADS 102 with a C or better or by permission of instructor.

Open only to School of Art majors and minors.
