Teaching Major in Middle School Science Education (BS)
The Middle School Science Education major is designed to prepare students for teaching science effectively at the middle grade level. This program includes completing:
Core classes from across disciplines in science including physical sciences, life sciences and earth & space sciences to meet performance standards for licensure
Professional education classes to prepare students for teaching in middle grade settings
Content methods courses that provide pedagogical knowledge for teaching science and fulfill other professional requirements of the teacher education program
