Minor in Public Health
The public health minor provides students with a broad overview of the science and art of preventing disease and promoting health in populations, communities and individuals. You will learn the basics of environmental health, epidemiology, health policy and management, and health promotion and community health. Because a public health minor can enhance employment prospects in any field related to human health or wellness, this minor works well with majors such as nursing, pre-medicine/dentistry/vet/PA, biology, dietetics, business, data analytics, exercise science/kinesiology, audiology and speech pathology and more. This minor is not available to students pursuing a major in public health.
