Minor in Directing for the Stage

The Minor in Directing For the Stage will provide a core foundation of text analysis and hands-on directing work. Students will become adept at theatrical storytelling, staging, working with actors, and the practical aspects of leading a production from concept to opening night. Students may use the elective courses to focus their study in various aspects of the craft that will most benefit their studies. No more than six hours of coursework for this minor may be counted towards the student's major.
