Minor in Broadcast and Media Engineering
The broadcast and media industries are in a period of constant evolution as the equipment and infrastructures they use move from analog to digital. In the Broadcast and Media Engineering minor, students will learn about analog infrastructures, digital infrastructures, and hybrid infrastructure to be able to step into either environment and to support those responsible for media production. The minor will explore analog and digital equipment; the design of digital, analog, and setup of production infrastructures; and troubleshooting and repairs. This minor is offered as a joint program between the Department of Media and the Center for Information and Communication Sciences.
