PLAN 573 Transit-Oriented Development: A tool in equitable city building
The primary goal of this course is to help you understand the significance and history of mobility systems within cities in the US, and the connected relationship between mobility systems and equitable economic development. You will gain an understanding of how urban form and investment in public infrastructure can influence development, and vice versa, through exploring multiple TOD case studies and various expert opinions. This course will focus on urban form, land use, economic development, and transportation policy in multiple contexts to give you a better understanding of the crucial role mobility systems play in equitable city building.
