CJC 221 Statistical Analysis in Criminal Justice and Criminology

This course examines how statistics are used to study crime, criminality, policy, and the criminal justice system. The underlying assumptions of statistics are learned, research methods are evaluated, statistical tests are interpreted, and evaluation research skills are learned in order to teach students how to draw conclusions about the utility and application of criminal justice-related research findings. 

Prerequisites: CJC 101, CJC 102, and CJC 220 or permission of the department chairperson
