MDIA 370 Video Gaming and Esports
A look inside the video game industry from its evolution to its convergence with technology and its intersection with sports and sports production. This course looks at the world of streaming coverage of esports competitions and the importance of storytelling to competitors, viewers and the industry.
Prerequisites: MDIA 101 or TCOM 101, and MDIA 204 or TCOM 204, and MDIA 206 or TCOM 206, and MDIA 207 or TCOM 207, and MDIA 231 or TCOM 231, and MDIA 284 or TCOM 284 with a minimum grade of C in each.
