JOUR 150 Introduction to Basic Concepts of Journalism Education
Designed to help students make balanced decisions about preparing for and functioning in teaching careers in the field of journalism/mass communications. Professionalism, job requirements, employment opportunities, secondary school curricula, and the role of secondary education within the entire educational process are discussed. Prerequisite: JOUR 101 or permission of the department chairperson.
