HSC 295 Rdg Tech Instr Strat in Hlth
Designed to prepare students to exercise best practice literacy, technology, and instructional strategies within the health classroom. Students will learn to design and deliver standards-based health instruction while effectively integrating reading and technology. Emphasis will be on creating a literacy-rich classroom environment, improving communication with learners and their parents through the use of technology, and creating an engaging learning environment. Prerequisite: HSC 160 and 290; or permission of the department chairperson; meet decision point 2 requirements. Open only to health and physical education teaching majors.
